About Us
Crochet for Care is a non-profit organization that donates handmade crochet blankets and toys to local animal shelters. Crochet for Care was created to give comfort to homeless animals to make to adoption process easier. When they are adopted, the toy and blanket go with them to provide them with something familiar as they adjust to their new family. History
My name is Mina Ryumae, and I created this organization in 2018. I currently attend the Gatton Academy at Western Kentucky University as a high school senior, and I love to crochet/do things with my hands. I have three American Eskimo dogs of my own, and there is not much I love more than animals. So, I thought, why not combine my fondness of crocheting and animals?
